Merry Christmas! (Well it was started back then:-))

We spent the Holidays in Oregon this year.  When we were flying though Albuquerque, NM we ran into Santa!
Santa was very nice and even gave me a couple of candy canes for the plane ride!
When I got to grandma & grandpa Daniels' house, Grandpa had a present waiting for me!  It was a train for me to take with me on the Polar Express ride we went. on.
This was the real train.

Daddy, Grandpa and I on the train!
We got to eat cookies, drink hot chocolate and be on a train!
The conductor punched my ticket and made it snow down on me.

Santa was on the Polar Express as well.  Man he really makes the rounds! I was a pretty happy camper with my bell!
Stay tuned, there are more Christmas adventures to come!

Thanksgiving Adventures!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays!  This year it was at the new Jackson house in Toledo, Ohio!  I was sure to help Mom with the packing.  I wanted to make sure I did not get left behind!
It was cold in Ohio!  I had to wear a hat, gloves and socks!
Natalie and I exchanged gifts at Thanksgiving since we will not see each other over Christmas.
It was good practice on opening presents! She got me a my little pony!
I got Nat a wooden train!  I love my train and I thought Nat would love it too.
We played in her toy room a lot.  You can see when even used the table to build the train.
Henry, Nat and I got our own table for all the meals and snacks!  I felt like such a big girl!
Henry had a new little sister, Ingrid, but she was not big enough to sit at the kids table with us.

Katie, Ingrid and Henry's Mom, even let Nat and I try to hold her.
Nat did much better holding her, I thought she was a little big and squirmy.
Henry got a coaster to go with his train set at home.  He was nice and let us all play with it.
I got all dressed up for Thanksgiving.  I wanted to show Nat my pretty new dress.
Henry took a casual approach to the day.
Nat and I took a snack break in the living room and caught a little bit of the parade.  We liked watching the people dancing.
Nat's parents got busy right away preparing for the feast!
Daddy and Aaron were responsible for the Turkey.
They did not have a turkey baster so Daddy improvised!
He had to concentrate really hard to make sure the turkey stayed very moist.  He did a good job! I ate a lot of turkey!
This was baby Ingrid's first Thanksgiving and she was not sure what to think of all of us.  I'm sure she will warm up to us in the coming years. :-)
Henry got a rare chance to sit at the grown-up table with his parents.
Aaron has attempted this pie for 3 years and this year it was the best!
More playing in the play room, what can I say, we are kids.

All this playing can make a girl tired or ready to sing...I'm not sure what I'm doing here.

Natalie, took us to an indoor playground.  It was a lot of fun and a good place to expend some energy.

Well we might have expended some energy at the playground but we still had enough left to tackle Daddy!
He took turns helping Nat and I fly.

After we had our turns then we both jumped on him!
Thanksgiving would not be complete without a walk outside.
We were quite the group walking around the neighborhood!
Nat and I rode bikes while Henry pushed the lawn mower.
After most of us kids went to bed our parents stayed up and played games.
Ingrid also got to stay up and watch, I'm not sure how she managed that...

Before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye to the Johnson's.  It was great seeing them!

A rare family photo of the Johnson's... they are all in it, even if everyone is not looking.
Nat and I had one extra day together so we thought we would go see Santa.  I was excited waiting in line but when it came to sitting on his lap.  I was a little less than cooperative.

Sunday afternoon, it was time to go.  Thanks Jackson's for being such wonderful hosts!
We miss you already!

Nat Nat and Parker Reunited! Part 2

Day 2 in Orlando and we got to go to Universal!  Daddy was super excited!
Mom and Aaron were very excited to go to Harry Potter world.  We got to See the Hogwarts Express.
There was even a Hogwarts student choir complete with singing frogs.
Pretty Castle!  Too bad Mom and I didn't get to go inside.  I was not tall enough for the big ride and mom was too pregnant.
Butterbeer, Pumpkin Juice and Chocolate frogs!  Yeah, we tried them all!
Even the students from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons were wondering around the area.  They must have been pretty hot cause it was like 83 that day!
Mom and Jen got a quick photo with the Cat in the Hat
I also had a quick chat with the Cat.
He was very friendly.  Nat was not as excited about him as I was.
We ate lunch in Dr. Seuss' World and caught a glimpse of the Grinch.
After lunch we went back to Harry Potter world to get wands!
Jackson's at the castle drinking Butterbeer.
Daniels' family at the castle with Butterbeer, Wand and I even got a dragon!  I did not want a cute fluffy owl when I could get a dragon with lots of spiky teeth.
Another busy day and it knocked Nat and I out by 3pm.  We let the Daddy's stay and do rides while we headed back home to Melbourne.
After our nap we had a little energy to go to the playground at the apartment.
Then it was off to the beach!  The Jackson's had been here 5 days and we had not made it to the beach yet.  I needed to be sure they experienced that too!
I was sure to bring my buckets and shovels so Nat and I could play.  Aaron did his fair share of playing in the sand too.
Jen got a few minutes to soak up the sun. She even got a little sunburn in November!
A little sand with crackers never hurt anyone... although it was a considerably more crunchy snack.
They turned Nat into a Mermaid!  They tried to get me but I was too wiggly!
I much preferred Peek-A-Boo in the giant hole Aaron dug for us.

Girls in a hole! I hope we can get out...
Then it was our turn to bury Aaron.  He was pretty good at holding still.
They day before they left, we took a trip to the zoo.
We were sporting our Thing 1 & Thing 2 shirts from Universal.
We were very brave petting the snake.  I was apparently a little too brave because I gave it a squeeze and Aaron had to step in.
Mine and Nat's last day together in Florida.  She was dressed for the plane in long sleeves!  I guess I'll have to find some long sleeves for when I go visit her!  I can't wait for Thanksgiving, I get to see Nat again and the Johnson's!  I'm sure I will have lots to blog about after that!
